4th CIREQ Interdisciplinary PhD Student Conference on the Environment and Climate Change

This symposium is organized by CIREQ and 4th Space in collaboration with the Département d’économique of the Université Laval, the Department of Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering of Concordia University and the Département de sciences économiques of the Université de Montréal.

OVERVIEW

To address the complex challenges of climate change, deforestation, biodiversity loss, and pollution, it is crucial to foster communication and collaborations across disciplines. This entails promoting interactions and partnerships that encompass not only environmental concerns but also social, economic, and political factors.

In this context, we are pleased to invite you to the 4th Annual CIREQ Interdisciplinary PhD Student Conference on the Environment and Climate Change. The symposium will take place on June 4-5, 2024, in a hybrid format: online via Zoom and in person at 4th Space – Concordia University in Montréal. The event will showcase PhD students’ presentations embedded in thematic discussions along with a scientific communication workshop and panel discussions with scholars and workplace experts. Participants will also benefit from mentoring opportunities with senior scholars. Attendance is free and open to everyone.
