Call for Papers (link)
For its sixteenth anniversary, the CIREQ PhD Students’ Conference invited close to 50 PhD economics students from Montreal and from around the world to a virtual conference to share their research in a friendly and stimulating setting.
We are pleased to announce the Seventeenth CIREQ PhD Students’ Conference on June 6–7, 2022 at Concordia University in Montreal, QC (the CEA Conference in Ottawa is on June 3–4). We invite PhD students working in all fields of economics to present their research.
Concordia University will host the conference in person, adhering strictly to all government health and safety protocols and guidelines. If circumstances necessitate the conference to shift to an online format, the event organisers will notify the presenters, although the decision is likely to be taken closer to the conference date. While it is not guaranteed, we might be able to accommodate a few selected presentations online. Note that, in that case, priority would be given to those that are far from Montreal. Please choose your preferred way of presenting when submitting your abstracts.
Submissions should be done online, through the form available here, by April 3, 2022. An abstract with a 350-word limit is required. Although abstracts may be submitted in English or French, presentations will be in English only. Notifications of acceptance will be sent out by April 18, 2022. The preliminary program will be posted by mid-May 2022.
There is no submission or registration fee for the conference. Nevertheless, for planning purposes, registration is required.
Please check your junk mail folder regularly for confirmation emails and any correspondence about the conference.
We look forward to meeting you at the conference.
