Mark Carney, economist, was Governor of the Bank of Canada from 2008 to 2013 and Governor of the Bank of England from 2013 to 2020. He now serves as Financial Adviser to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for COP26 and as UN Special Envoy for Climate Finance.
He will answer questions from Louise Roy, Chancellor Emeritus of the Université de Montréal and Chair of the Board of Directors of CIRANO, and of Benoit Perron, Director of the Department of Economics at the Université de Montréal and Research Fellow at CIRANO and CIREQ.
