This training day on quantitative program evaluation, organized by the Maison des affaires publiques et internationales, in collaboration with CIREQ and CIRANO, will bring together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to discuss the challenges involved in measuring the impact of public policies.
Drawing on concrete examples and rigorous methodological approaches, the day will aim to deepen understanding of how to distinguish correlation from causality, and how to leverage administrative data and econometric tools to assess the real effects of public interventions.
Targeted at analysts, program managers, provincial and federal public servants, as well as researchers and graduate students, this training seeks to strengthen analytical capacity and support evidence‑based decision‑making.
